In Iraq, we don't believe our military is being beaten on the battleground. It's more that there is no formal "battleground." There is the drip of daily casualties and victory is not around the corner. Americans are impatient. We like fast food and fast war.

Wow, it's like war as taste test. I don't understand this mindset. CNN was harping about this earlier today, with their big giant question mark, as in:
To save America, we need another 9/11
?So wishing for another attack is somehow patriotic? This is to be their final solution? And among the reasons listed, "it's gone on too long." LIKE IT'S JUST A SEASON OF AMERICAN IDOL.
Uh, Sparky, that ain't the half of it! There is the invented intel and the false pretense, the blatant profiteering, the cover-ups, the incompetence, the unwillingness to actually support the troops in any meaningful way, you know, meaning beyond that which benefits Blackwater or Halliburton. Of course, don't forget Plamegate, or the fact that Osama is still at large, cutting music videos because he is apparently no longer a "person of interest". Meanwhile the dogs of war are at the ready for Iran.
It defies logic...But then I remember their agenda simmering in the background.
