Will Karl Rove ever be held accountable?
From rigging elections, to dirty tricks, buying media, and outing Plame
the man has done real damage to America and yet he continues
to walk through the thunderstorm and doesn't seem to get more than
a drop or two on him. The Congress sent him a subpoena and he used
it to blow his nose. He used U.S. Attorney as "button men" to rig elections
and yet nobody says or does a damn thing ..... Where is the rule of law?

1. I believe Mr. Rove (and a few other insiders) will have unfortunate ...
..."Accidents" after Bush leaves office.

2. Unfortunately, I think Mr. Potato Head will get away with it
Not that he will be able to go out in public ever again for the rest of his life. He'll only be able to hang out with RW morons.

3. No. I think he will live happily ever after on his island. That's if
the Democrats win back all three branches and he can't be the big power broker anymore. Sadly, I don't think he will be held accountable for anything he's ever done.

22. Look at it this way
He won't be happy on that island, because he won't be in a position of major power.

That will be a punishment for the likes of him.

8. We'll test his strengths
After his WH cocooning gig ends I believe there will be much he'll have to run from and some he will not evade.

10. I agree, and point folks to a great September
issue of the Atlantic Monthly~ The title for a series of articles is "Lessons of a Failed Presidency". The top article listed, "Why Karl Rove Couldn't Deliver" is a good read. It lays out precisely how the arrogant bastard did himself in.

16. "the rule of law"
--a joke.

All we can do is continue to discredit & expose the Turdblossom for what he is and the damage he has done. Convict him in the court of public opinion. Drag him through the virtual streets behind the oxcart. Recognize this kind of deviant and how he operates. Observe how cleverly he escapes any retribution for his crimes. It's related to how many white collar criminals operate just below the radar. Look around. Rove is a diabolical expression of our worst instincts. Our sick system allowed him to mushroom and grow.

While we'd like to stamp out this monster, it wouldn't solve the problem. Turdblossoms are all around us. Not saying that I wouldn't like to see "justice" but these people are too well-protected to fear a weak and compromised justice system.

The triumph of Rove tells us just how bad this whole situation is.

19. Nope..
he'll be appointed to a multi-million dollar job as a consultant for some right wing think tank, and will "counsel" other candidates from time to time..

In not too many years, we will no doubt hear from his son..

maybe the son will be "the little brown one's" campaign manager in a few years..:puke:

He'll be the first hispanic president

20. who is going to hold him accountable?
the blue dogs? They've been neutered

we don't have the votes to impeach bush/cheney, if we can't impeach them then we can never get to rove or any of the bushies because they are protected by the cloak of executive priviledge
