A WaPo article hinted at $8.00/hr for a starting wage.

But nothing definitive. Employees are silent.

WTF?

This coal company stinks to high heaven. If
they are not paying industry standard wages
then they are not legit and are almost certainly
not putting capital resources into work place
safety.

High coal prices are bringing many moribund, unsafe
mines into production.

In Canada when a mine closes it must be
re certified to the latest safety standards
before it goes back into production.
