7. I think that I and many others here
would carry Dennis on our shoulders directly to the White House if we could. Screw the election, this country can't wait that long.

8. Yes
but I would rather carry him around for more people to hear and understand. I try to do that and you know that there are more steadfast Republican's around here that when they hear much of what he stands for, not knowing who he is, are ready to vote for him. Once they find out he is a Democrat a lot of that support goes out the window because we are spineless. Spineless was old, they were ready for us to stand up but we fulfilled their worst fears.

Now I hear that they would rather support a religious ass who is strong and stands up for his convictions no matter what they are than support someone spineless with better ideas. I guess the fear is working.

I have to admit that I do not address that much anymore not being a Democrat and quite frankly I agree with them. I leave it at that since I can't defend them, except for Dennis.

10. and his reasons for doing so make sense
Can we really afford to have nuclear winter? Do we want to destroy the world in order to save it? Stephanopolis gave him a hard time, and Kucinich answered every question effectively. I hope a lot of people got to listen to this--they will see that Kucinich is right on the money on Iraq, nuclear weapons, on dealing with our world problems.

12. That really stupid question George S. asked.........
about a dirty bomb. Who would George suggest we nuke in payback for an attack? Ignorant.

14. I thought I heard him respond by suggesting ...
... that effective intelligence and good police work in advance of an attempt to attack might help to prevent it, and that, in event of an attack, "good old fashioned police work" would be the most effective way to find out exactly who attacked us. Then we could deal with the perpetrators. I believe he then cited our irrational response to the 911 attacks in taking Iraq "off the shelf" and attacking a country that had nothing to do with attacking us.

I thought that was a pretty good response to the "who would you nuke" question.

15. George S has accepted that using nukes is a reasonable alternative.
The pro-war wing of the Dems have accepted that also. That's why they keep talking about it. I don't think that they want (per se) to use them, but they've gotten to the point where they can rationalize the usage of nukes in a normal setting.

All the more reason to vote for Dennis.

Go Dennis - kick the war party to the curb!

16. Kucinich did a remarkable job this morning, he was very clear and very
concise with Georgie every time Georgie tried to nail him about nuclear deterrence as defense.

17. How many other have the guts to say this?
I wonder deep down, how many candidates- people- really feel using nukes is a viable option?

How can any candidate who says he gives a flying monkey shit about the environment, keep ANY kind of NUKE on the option table?

Thank god Dennis has the balls & brains to speak out.

Thank you, Dennis.
