DU the poll re Bush Library at SMU
The Methodist church is opposed to the library and think tank. The Institute on Religion and Democracy is trying to cram it down our Texas throats.

DU it please!

2. It' seems like a great thing. The debate, that is.
It's like a joke, but it's real. And everybody gets the punchline.

3. I have misgivings
If SMU doesn't get it then Baylor might. I would MUCH rather have it in Dallas than Waco. We have suffered enough.

4. The real issue for the Methodists is the "think tank".
It's stated mission is to present the Bush presidency in the best light possible an to promote and support the Bush Doctrine. It's one thing to have books and research material, another to have a propaganda machine in the guise of a State Supported University.

10. They could change the name.
George W. Bush College.

They might as well in hopes of attracting more Bushbots to replace the better students and faculty that will almost certainly be looking into schools elsewhere.
