How about voting on Saturday & Sunday instead of Tuesday?
12 hours on one weekday driving in snow drifts and busting your ass just don't cut it.

1. Way overdue!
In France and Germany, it is always on a Sunday.

I suspect that any proposal to change to a Sunday will
be fought tooth and nail by Republicans, as any proposal
that would increase voter turnout benefits us, not them.

I've long suggested this. The polls should be open from midnight Friday to midnight Sunday. 48 hours of polling.
