So yesterday, Karl Rove resigned and Bush gave him a ride back
to Texas on Air Force 1.

The official resignation date is August 31.

Does Karl have 2 weeks of sick time to burn, or what? It doesn't take 2 weeks to get to Texas; why did he leave yesterday?

1. Probably a 'working vacation'.
:eyes:

As if there ever was such a thing in the first place. Bush's entire pResidency has been a vacation...from reality.

4. No doubt Bush's brain accompanied the chimp
to the phony ranch at Crawford to plot and scheme the stealing of the 08 election and the destruction of the Dem candidate, they are assuming to be Hillary.

Rove isn't going away. He's going underground like a large sewer rat. Fitting for a guy known as Turdblossom.

5. Since he wasn't entitled in the first place I would like to see
if he still had secret service protection...and remember when the Sgt of Arms suggested a different plane for Nancy Pelosi. One a little larger than the one Hastert had because she had to travel a greater distance and the republicans went apeshit. Now have you heard ONE republican say a word about rove taking the presidential plane. AND how about Laura Bush taking a president al plane for a visit to Minnesota..did you hear the republicans complaining about that. After all her trip was a republican party visit to check out arrangements for the convention next year.....

But then we all know republicans, then can do anything, but even when the democrats are not doing anything wrong the cons moan and groan about it.
