Rovian Chess: Losing Rove now is like
- Losing the Queen after you've put your opponent in an unavoidable check-mate with your Knights and Rooks

- Losing a Rook (Rove) in exchange for your opponent's Queen (Impeachment)

Please feel free to add your own chess analogies

1. I think BushCo has been in checkmate for several months
and they just keep knocking over the chess board right as we're about to take out their king.

7. Not sure about that. Depends on what you do about your opponent cheating.

3. Can't we just play checkers?
After all, that's what we've prepared for.

6. Removing a giant piece of s**t from the chessboard...
...The entire playing field is utterly soiled until it gets a thorough antiseptic scrubbing.

8. It is a gambit to try to squirm out of checkmate
A big piece is leaving the board, the pieces left to *co can't move and the only moves left result in forfeiture of pieces. Check and mate.
