Progress and party loyalists

Folks many people complaint that their party (insert party here) is not doing what the base wants

Well you know what? The parties will continue to be beholden to their special interests until the bases on both sides stop being loyal to their parties and start beign loyal to the country

It is not only Republicans who will follow their party right or wrong

It is also democrats... and on this site, some in particular

It probably is the same percentage, to be honest

But FISA happened for a reason. They COUNT on you and me voting for the lesser of two evils (which the system encourages)

We have no choice, and they know that

Now me, I don't anything to happen any longer in this country that will be good

Hell, I don't expect my vote to be counted when I vote in both the primaries and the federal elections

And yes, I expect the US Government to monitor every call I make from now on (have known this since 2002)

And I do not expect anybody to challenge any of this, since our party comes first

Or Idol

Or whatever is the distraction du jour

Sad, yes

But I expect things to get much, MUCH worst, and for blood to flow in the streets, perhaps in my lifetime

But this is no longer a free contry, nor do most Americans seem to be able to have an independent thought

you know the kind, my party right or wrong

the difference is... our party loyalists try to shut people up, but not as radically as theirs
