Timothy McEnulty was in jail Friday night awaiting formal charges after the DEA raided his home in Overland Park. The DEA didn't find an active lab in McEnulty's house, but the DEA said it found chemicals and glassware used to make meth.

Law enforcement says the chemicals found are more than what would be stored in someone's home. McEnulty said he's a chemist who works for an Orlando based company that develops products for the defense department.

"These chemicals were used for anything from, well I had potassium's, pot ashes and nitrates, which I used for my garden," McEnulty said on the phone from jail. "I guarantee you there was no meth lab and there was no meth found on that property."

McEnulty said he's purchased 4,000 to 5,000 chemical and glassware products over the past six months. But he said he mainly buys antique glassware on-line and re-sells it for profit.
