John Mark Karr, who's achieved infamy without a rap sheet, is a man of many contradictions.

A year after his arrest as a suspect in the death of child beauty queen JonBenet Ramsey, Karr, 42, says he wants to be treated like everyone else. He is engaged to 23-year-old Brooke Simmons and the couple, who live in Sandy Springs with his father, hope to marry soon.

(His prior wives were aged 13 and 16. One of them gave birth, to twins, at home, as a teenager, without a midwife and lost both babies. He was recently arrested for beating up his father. And of course there is the whole Jon Benet thing.) WHAT A CATCH!

Why does that happen? Good folks can't find a mate. Trash moves from wife to wife.

I guess that's the trick......

Special enough to not have primary custody of her child? And I wouldn't be surprised if she's living with Karr because she has nowhere else to go. And she may have to become special enough to be the main breadwinner if they have any hope moving out of Pop's house!

I'll be damned ;)

It was actually hysterical (unintentionally). Mostly because Dan Abrams looked like his head was going to explode - John Mark Karr kept talking about what a good person he was and how much his wife's family respected him, etc., and Dan kept repeating "Dude, you KILLED a 6 year old girl and illegally married a 13 year old" (only after Karr's insistance that he did kill Jon Benet despite evidence to the contrary.)

The guy is completely whacked. I am amazed that Dan Abrams held it together as well as he did because Karr was so irrational it would have driven the Dalai Lama over the edge. You just wanted to reach through the screen and shake some bloody sense into him.

What is the 23 year old thinking!?
