Karl Rove made the rounds of the Sunday shows. Basically the same old spin and blatant lies from Bush's brain. More interesting was McCain's analysis of Rove, which he made on "Face the Nation":

Senator John McCain of Arizona, a Republican presidential candidate who followed Mr. Rove on “Face the Nation,” said that history would decide whether Mr. Rove had been “good or bad for American politics,” and that the assessment would depend largely on the outcome of the Iraq war.

Get that? The judgment of Rove's role in politics depends on Iraq. That's because Rove was key to Bush's Iraq strategy. And, that's because for Bush, Iraq has been all about politics and public relations. McCain confirmed it today -- and he should know. The Senator from Arizona fully supports the Bush/Rove "stay the course" in Iraq strategy.

2. Rove oversaw the political spin surrounding the war, not the strategy.
The entire Bush administration's legacy will be riding on the outcome of Iraq, including that which happens after Shrub has departed.

5. Correct.
Rove participated in the WHIG, not in military matters.

3. I become furious when I hear statements like that. It's dis-reality.
This is a top down crime. At the top are the boss-barons - ceo's, cfo's, foundations, Carlyle type consortiums, independently wealthy people who want to rule all the people and all the earth resources.

Cheney was given the role of running this attempt that is oil centered with control of the people running in parlallel. Rove reports to Cheney in that he must coach, tutor, and keep George in check as well as lead the RNC in supporting all their efforts and winning elections by whatever means. There was a tight time critical need to do this all now - Rove was key.

To focus this on Rove and give him credit or blame IS ABSURD. It is just another example of dis-reality in play. Who other than Rove would be pleased to accept the role he is being given - as the brains behind nearly everything. That's perfect for keeping the boss-barons faceless and supposedly respectable.

To say that the outcome of the Iraq War will make or break Rove is so distorting - why not add it also depends on whether he goes to jail for all the other crimes he is involved in - attys, campaigning, directing money, doing RNC work on gov time and property, making other gov employees do RNC work, voting, obstructing justice, disobeying laws.

McCain no longer desrves respect.
