1. I am with you....at what point do the Dems stop being afraid?
They are afraid of this Administration calling them unpatriotic....well 70% of America is demanding an end to this debacle....

Wake up Nancy and Harry if you don't have the backbone to do it...then step down and let Feingold and others step in and do it.

what it's all about, too. What is it? What is going on.. That vote was really the hardest to "give a pass" on to our Party. At least for those of us who were told "Keeping the Powder Dry"..."Give them Enough Rope" ...Trust that when we Dems take POWER we will HOLD "THEM" ACCOUNTABLE.

Some Hearings. Some Subpoena's that weren't honored or held in RESPECT by the Fascists.

But...in the end...THEY vote with the Repugs.

They say...THEY HAVE TO!...And then the Endless Pundits EXPLAIN AWAY...WHY the Dems HAVE TO!

I just don't get it. ..I wish I could understand how much more powder that's "dry" or "rope" to "hang themselves" we out here in the STATES need to give to those Dems we worked to elect.

It's SANTA....He wasn't real....anymore than anything else is.

4. But...with Bush Polls in the Crapper...how can they NOT SEE their SUPPORT?
How can they roll over and over and over.......? How can they never understand the BIG MOMENTUM that's been the "wind beneath their Wings" since the SELECTION OF 2000?

"THEY" haven't even fixed the VOTING DISENFRANCHISMENT! THEY DIDN'T EVEN DO THAT for ALL OF US WHO WORKED SO HARD!

That's what's the FOUNDATION that they never even bothered with.... Never even bothered with after som "Basement Hearings" which seem meant to appease rather than address Legislation to ADDRESS!

That's the first thing that "THEY" didn't do...

5. I know they passed the bill but the REAL democrats did not vote for it.
The blue dog democrats who I will say over and over and I don't care what anyone else says, THEY ARE REPUBLICANS. I believe they knew they could not get elected as republicans and the jumped over to democrats. Why would bush call and ask THEM to come to the white house if they weren't republicans. AND TO VERIFY IT THEY WENT.................. If they had not voted FOR IT, the bill would not HAVE PASSED......................

6. Bluedog
Brad Ellsworth voted with the Reps. and I've been trying to call his ofc. THey have not returned my call, they could be closed during this break. I only left the number to call back, no reason. I've had lunch with a couple of groups the past week and all are dems and all concerned about his vote. Many of us volunteered during his campaign.
He beat Rep Holstetler which everyone was really happy about. Another Rep. has just announced he will oppose Ellsworth in next election. I will stick with Brad over the Rep, but I sure hope he starts listening to his backers. You have to vote for the better of the contenders.

7. Agree...when we are down we've gotta do the best we can...but
with Bush polls so low and and Dems in charge...why are we at the bottom here that we've got to compromise so much with the Blue Dogs that we supported? Don't they owe their loyalty to US who VOTED THEM IN? And..who are "US?" if they don't care about who we are?
