It seems to me that the jury is in. Or maybe this poll was DU'ed?

1. It says at the top of the page
"Not a scientific poll".

4. I'm not asking a scientific question.
But are you implying that the results are not representative?

9.  By definition, an unscientific poll is not representative
of the total population, i.e. all that watched the debate. IT's only representative of those that chose to participate in the poll.

10. And how would you describe these participants?
Because I see no reason to assume that these are other than ABC watching democrats with an internet connection.

Unless of course you are suggesting that the legions of DK supporters who all voted for him in the 2004 primaries have somehow manipulated this poll.

13. There are links all over Kucinich's website asking people to vote in the poll:

2. Kucinich 'won' many internet polls in 2004
But when it came to real people going to the polls for the primaries, it became appenent that these internet polls were not representative of Democratic voters.

5. Depends on the question
I have never seen kucinich lead in an internet poll that asks "Will you vote for this guy?"

3. You're basing your assertion on the results of an on-line poll? Really?
1) On-line polls mean less than nothing. They're self-selecting and usually do not prevent multiple voting. Was the poll DU'ed? Most certainly.
2) Most of those watching the debates at this early date are party die-hards - usually the most dogmatic on either side. Most of the electorate are not tuned in, believe me.
3) I have nothing against Kucinich, I have a LOT against on-line polls - I think they're the stupidest thing to come down the pike in a long long time.

6. re:
ad 1. If the poll was DU'ed, can we then conclude that 30% of the people HERE agree on Kucinich? Who else woul manipulate the poll? Our freeper friends?
ad 2. I believe you. We have to start somewhere.
ad 3. In part I agree. And if Kucinich had a base that was big enough to manipulate online polls I wouldn't have bothered with this post.

7. I was using 'DUed' in a generic sense. The ballot box was stuffed.
No, you cannot say 30% of anyone voted for Kucinich. Ten (or two) people could have generated 30% of the votes.

The poll means nothing - wipe it from your memory.

8. 32,500 votes so far
9,400 for Kucinich.

Anyway, got to get ready for a job interview. Wish me luck. Argue some more when I get back ;)

11. What do you mean 'win' a debate? What was the half time score?
How do you keep score?

16. Yeah! I was going to suggest the poll could have been freeped.
I also agree that online polls are worthless -- as polls. No law against citing them if it helps your case. :)

17. Which reminds me, I was in Hungary this spring and they actually had crow on the menu.
No point to this but I forgot about it until now.

I ordered the beef.

20. Lack of money, lack of exposure, lack of press
lack of credibility. Any number of reasons. That's why the best candidates do NOT get nominated. The best financed do.
