Karl Rove -- Bush's fairy-god father

In the fairy tale, the fairy god-mother took a leaf covered pumpkin and turned it into a carriage. In real life, Karl took a silk wrapped prick and turned it into a president. A much more difficult achievement.

I'm sorry -- but in the midst of this two week heat wave in Georgia, I'm beginning to suffer from cabin fever :-)

2. Rove lied big time on national TV yesterday about the Plame case.

Watch his body language. Listen to the shakes in his voice. He was lying, lying. He was reciting a story that was made up and that he memorized. He was not remembering and telling what he really remembered.

I wonder why Fitzgerald did not press charges. Rove talked about Fitzgerald's failure to indict Rove or Armitage in a contemptuous fashion. Wonder what happened there. With regard to the outing of Plame, Rove is guilty as sin and he knows it.
