contracted by American corporations.

Look at all these ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS taking American Jobs!

employed by American corporations.

they are so good at taking our eye off the ball. Time for accountability.

Environmental regulations are cutting into profits.

People suffer so health insurance companies can make record profits. we push legal drugs to those who can afford it.

we fight a war so big oil gets their profits.

The war, the environment, healthcare. Our top three issues have one thing in common - the corporations.

Buyer beware!

Time for accountability.

But I'm not going to wait for Washington to change things. We need to treat every dollar in our pocket like a vote, and re-assess what we really "need" in order to function in this FUBAR society. Back to basics. Time to get off the grid as much as possible.

1. Multinational corporations.
That's the name the media has given them.

In our globalized world, "America" is transcended to fit the whole world.

Therefore, this isn't just America's problem.

It's the world's?

2. This is the right thinking.
Accountability starts with ME.

And I'll tell you, it's really tough to be accountable. I've been paying the price for a long long time. I've given up a lot of fun in order to use less, consume less. It's the American way that has driven this monster. And people frown on those who advocate doing and consuming LESS. Just try telling someone to not go to the Summer of Love reunion in San Francisco. How dare you! Well, that's exactly the kind of thing I'm talking about. One less plane ticket, one less tank full of gas. It's this hurdle that we must overcome in order to accomplish or even start to accomplish our weening from the consumer trough.

I'm pretty much all alone in this thinking. And I take it to a level that insults and annoys almost every single person, when I start equating babies with BTU's. That gets them jumping mad. So be it. It's the truth.
