Did Time mag. put Devil Horns on Rev. Billy Graham? Some think so.

Is Billy Graham the devil incarnate? That's how he is portrayed by the appalling cover of the August 20 edition of TIME, which shows the distinguished evangelist with horns.

The cover superimposes Graham, arguably America's most well-known preacher, over the TIME logo, and positioned so that the peaks of the "M" appear as horns coming out of his head. (H/T to Mark Finkelstein of NewsBusters.) The sophomoric design stunt appears to be the editor's mea culpa for running a generally positive portrayal of Graham inside the magazine.

even though I knew I was looking for devil horns. I don't think it was an intentional act to place his image just so that it would look like he had horns.

Several years ago, I had a similar thing with John Ashcroft. I mentioned to someone thst Ashcroft probably wore a bustiere under his suits (ala Robert Vaughn in SOB) and damn it, I gave myself that visual of him. So much to the extent, that when I think of Ashcoft, I envision him in such! :)

He has wavy hair. The same idiots that see Jesus and Mary in burnt toast see horns on Billy Graham. The placement of the letter M is coincidental. It's the only way to center him on the page. That is unless you want the T to look like the cross sticking out of his head. :dem:
