Actually was a guest with her on her very first talker at WIOD, Miami. She tried to finish every sentence I started... She loves the sound of her own voice.

Man that takes me back a few years... For the life of me I couldn't remember if Randi used to be on WSHE or Zeta4.. thanks :toast:

I'm trying to put together a post and figure out how to get my pictures off the camera and on to my computer, but ask questions if you like. It might help me to focus.

I saw more salmon spawning though to give me lifetime memories of that experience anyway. Each port we docked in, except Victoria, the locals proudly took us to a stream or river to watch the salmon who were doing their life and death cycle right in front of us. It was really quite metaphorical. At the end of their lives they go to the stream they were born in and have fish sex to create the next generation and then they die. Life and death right in front of you in one moment in time.

I really enjoyed the dancing of the Tlingit people. I have pictures I will post shortly once I get them loaded and on photobucket. I wish I had done a short movie but my memory card was running low.

Unfortunately they were too far away from the ship to get decent pictures. The whole dining room was oohing and ahing everytime one came to the surface. I see whales here in Pismo so it wasn't such an awesome moment for me, but the easterners and middle America passengers were enthralled.

The only time I've seen them was in Puerto Valletta.

I've seen plenty of seals in Pismo. Actually in Priate's Cove. I sunning my ass (literally) on a raft and anchored myself to some sea weed. I was snoozing and look up to see a few feet away from me a seal poking it's head out of the water looking at me.

towards the channel islands. I just used Pismo as a point of reference. There are seals all over the place. That's for sure.

And does she insist on Boca Java coffee?

her. She's actually quiet and seems shy. I have a nice picture of her at the rail of the ship, which I will post.

On edit: About the coffee. Each passenger in her group got a gift package of the Boca coffee. Since I don't drink coffee at home, I gave mine to my stepdaughter who is a real coffeeholic.

I would imagine she'd have a protective bunch of "peeps" who'd make sure that no sickos got in her face.

I spent quite a bit of time with her .She is naturally "opnionated' but I like that in a person.

What's it like? I've only been on a cruise ship once in my entire life, and that was just an overnighter.

got neglected at home mainly my garden, which is dying as I try to save some bushes and plants because they didn't get watered while I was gone and it was unusually hot here that week. Incidentally, we didn't get more than five hours sleep each night. There was too much to do.

This particular cruise had many gays of both sexes on it. Our dinner companions were a lesbian couple whom we had a lot of fun with including one killer bridge game with one of the girls as my partner that caused us to gain a stalker, one of the women we beat at bridge. She followed us around carrying on about being slaughtered, beaten etc.. I finally had to tell her to get over it. It was only a game. Then she jumped on the gay couple for being gay and asking them if they weren't ashamed of their lifestyle. So the nuts were alive and well. LOL!

So glad you're back. Enjoyed reading these posts and look forward to pics.
