Levees crumbling (CBS eve news), bridges falling down, dams cracking,
roads are made of potholes with a little asphalt between them, air traffic control system FUBAR, and we're spending $8B a month in Iraq. Anybody see something wrong with this picture?

3. Sorry to correct you, but with the Surge it's more like 12Billion per month...
I agree this is absolute BS since the war is illegal in the first place.

Gosh, I haven't flown a 150/152 in 25 years. Do they still use the O-200?
:D
edit: Are you Donald?

8. She's naked, but she's still a beauty!

I landed her at Meigs with a crosswind component as close to her max as anyone would like to go (at night, no less). She danced down 35 like she was squeaking into 3MY on a windless spring day. ;)

She had the Lycoming 0-235, which behaved nicely, better on a cold day than the 0-200.:)

On edit: Donald? Duck? Duck Dunn? Rumsfeld?:;)

9. Okay, I knew the 172s had switch to Lycs but didn't know about the 150x series.
I miss Meigs, Daley must have been insane when he bulldozed the runway. :grr:

The only single-engine I fly any more is my buddy's little Luscombe 8E now and then. :D

Oh, 'Donald'...the registered owner according to the FAA.
