How can we have liberal radio with none lib commecials ?
all these commericals selling reposessed homes and time shares and all else that are issues we are really against ? Or the get rich quick adds for home workers or that lady with all the property things that I don't even know what they mean . This seems to be a conflict of interest even though I know they need sponsers , so everything is a sell out in one way or another .

1. Let the sponsors waste their money -- who cares if no one buys from them?
If Ann Coulter wanted to sponsor an ad on liberal radio, I say "why not? -- Sure Ann throw your money down the drain!"

3. Hey at least they don't have those stupid Ovaltine commercials..
the ones where all of the neighborhood children screamed in UNISON all the time? Damn those were annoying.

My current least favorites are the "ghetto" cellphone ads for the ONDCP which of course were paid for by us the taxpayers. :puke:

4. That repo homes commercial is pathetic
Not only is it taking advantage of the down and out, but it lies about everything else too.

"If your name starts with A-M call today, the rest call tomorrow".. Of course they say the same thing every day.

I can't imagine any progressive falling for this crap, but you never know.

6.  The new one I hear is Viva Viagra
Edited on Fri Aug-24-07 11:05 AM by blues90
This is insanity and sick stuff , just what we need hundreds of men running around with 4 hour erections as if this is a joke and somehow normal .

Most of the commercials irritate me to no end , I guess there could be some good ones that promote useful products that make life better that people could afford but where are they now .

I know this is how things work , it just seems blatently counter productive promoting what they do . But it's money and I understand this , still I can't handle it the way it is .

You see the horrors of war then along comes Viagra .

5. if the sponsors
don't make money on the spots they are paying for they will eventually pull them. If they pull them there goes the funding for the program. It is a free market system after all and has to have sponsorship.

11. Hell, Randi and Sean hawk the SAME coffee company!
And I just saw Binder and Binder, longtime AAR sponsors, advertising on FoxNoise.

It's money. We need it, they need it.

10. Need to Get More Blue Businesses to Advertise There
I'm sure they would rather have sponsors that were more to their liking and ours.
