White House spokeswoman: "I would expect that there would be some brush cutting to do."
CRAWFORD — President Bush is in Texas this week coming to terms with an old foe. The feud is well known, the ends are uncertain. The president is wielding a chainsaw.

"When he's out on his ranch, what he loves to do is spend time in the outdoors," said White House spokeswoman Dana Perino. "I would expect that there would be some brush cutting to do."

Since the early days of his presidency, Bush has spent time cutting and clearing brush on his ranch. Many have asked variations of the question, "Isn't that brush all cleared yet?"...

"We don't ride horses at our ranch," first lady Laura Bush told CNN. "My husband is what's called 'the windshield cowboy.' That means we ride a pickup." When he's not on his bike, Bush rumbles around in one of his fleet of white pickup trucks. "This place you learn to fall in love with trees," Bush said.

1. "fall in love with trees"
That one is right up there with "talking to the cows".

We used to have a farm right near there and nobody in their right minds clears brush in August unless they have a heat-stroke fetish..

2. I saw a video of him cutting something *above* him, and he seemed
surprised when it fell back and hit him.

"Heheheh, gravity, huh? It's a sumbitch."

3. My boys' former babysitter lived on a nearby farm, and they were ALMOST
as excited as the Chimp to help with the farm chores. He's such a poseur. I can't believe to this day that people fell for this asshole's act. I'm still shaking my head.
