The Defining Phrase Of The Bush Administration "Mission Accomplished"
Edited on Sat Aug-25-07 04:20 PM by ThomWV
For pure hubris it can not be beat - "Mission Accomplished".

They thought they had changed the world, they thought their fascist vision for our futures was delivered. They were wrong.

In two words the utter failure of our self-serving Administration is memorialized.

Mission Accomplished. They have accomplished nothing, but cleaning up the mess they have made will take years. Indeed, some problems they have set in motion may prove near unsolvable, foremost among them the shambles that is our military preparedness.

Mission Accomplished, my ass.

1. spot on
delusional morons

If some of them actually had good intentions, which I suppose I will grant for the sake of discussions, their naiveté is mind boggling. They are like a two-year old running into the house with a wilted dandelion saying "look mommy, I brought you a flower!"

Actually, the likelihood is that many of the blatantly stupidest moves, such as that sign, came from the 20-somethings from Liberty University, who appear to have the level of comprehension of that two-year-old. Their world view was formed in vacation bible school singing "Jesus Loves Me."

I wonder what more-senior member of the bush inner circle made the call to hire 120 of those morons, anyway? Cheney was the one who picked the big dogs, but who was handling the next tier?

2. Maybe their mission was to accomplish nothing.
I wouldn't put it past these assholes.

3. Depends what the mission was, doesn't it?
If the mission was to foment the descent into
fascism and the ending of America's empire and
respect by the rest of the world, well, I guess
the mission *WAS* accomplished :( .
