It must really suck to be a republican these days.

My God, what a grand old party! Can you believe the republicans the last few years? What a bunch of repressed sickos and perverts! Have you ever seen the long, long list of repub perverts listed here on DU so many times? It is truly staggering how many there are.

Everything is just falling apart for them, all their hopes and dreams and plans, their shiny war, their brave conquest of the middle east, its all coming undone. Rats deserting the ship, new scandals every day. Yesterday was a bad day to be a republican eh? How it must suck so bad to have a day like yesterday, and a month like August.

Somebody call a waaaaahhhhm bulance.

Whenever I try to have a civil debate with them on message boards they start right off with their childish name calling and frothing at the mouth, ranting but saying nothing. They often got to that point before but now it's mad dog mode right from square one.

Lots of them now say they're libertarians and claim they never were republicans.

and more often than not, they suck in public restrooms..

It's kind of funny to see the look of shock on their faces.

I guess, in all fairness, when they let Bush take the wheel of the car, they didn't expect him to take us in this direction either.

The whole accursed party is rotting away. There is a new sex/perversion story about a Republican lawmaker every few weeks. (Every few days, if you include the state and local levels.)

I realize that Democrats are human and have failings too, but (1) there are 10-20 times more R's than D's on the perversion dishonor roll, and (2) wayward Democrats don't go around preaching "family values" and passing laws to criminalize behavior they themselves indulge in.

I think the rank, overwhelming hypocrisy of most Republicans is even worse than their appalling criminality and disgusting perversions. How much longer are we going to keep electing sick-in-the-head "leaders"?

I try and pick up dates in public restrooms all the time.
