This is what we're dealing with, folks.
Posted on another website (a 41 year old person wrote this):

to bad mouth a president in office once was treason........for a congressman to sign in on anything other then a bible.........was wrong........for illegals to public protest was treason.........I do wonder what our founding fathers would think now if they saw the United States of America?? How many deaths surround the Clintons? Ah a member of Jihad can run for president? We can all sit and gripe we can all sit and make our thoughts known here. But until "we the people" once again unite and remember those in office are by our own hands there and work for us.......nothing will change........we need to write those that mater.......OUR PUBLIC OFFICIALS, news paper editors.........ect.......doesnt matter wether your a dem or rep.......your an American first !! America needs its back bone back......

These people breed and they vote. :wtf:

1. You know - eventually they breed themselves out of existance.
You don't worry about they do - worry about what you will do.

That is how we win.

3. To bad mouth a president in office was once quite stylish
During the Civil War (which even the freepers have to admit was a little bit more violent to this country than what happened on 911), northern newspapers called Lincoln "the original gorilla" and worse. And no Congressman ever "signed" on a Bible--what would they be signing? And since when was public protest treason? Even the Hay Market rioters who were convicted were convicted of murder, not treason.....I can't go on refuting, the ignorance of this person is making me ill.....did this person sleep through high school history????

10. Nice quote - sobering.
You know what Grant said to his subordinates in 1864 -

You don't worry about they do - worry about what you will do.

Paraphrased, admittedly.

Nice post man.

15. That's the thing. I see shit like that ...
... and I don't refute. It's literally beneath me. But obviously things get through to people (like this 41 year old who votes!)

These people are among us! I'm not an alarmist, or I don't like to think that I am, but I see shit like this everyday, and I'm just defeated in spirit.

5. The person who wrote that isn't an American.
And he's a hypocrite, too.

The President is not a king. In the U.S. the people are sovereign, not the politicians. And if a citizen wants to criticize someone who is first and foremost mearly an employee of the people, it is his right and duty to do so.

9. absolutely irony challenged
in one breath: "to bad mouth a president in office once was treason"... in another breath: "How many deaths surround the Clintons? Ah a member of Jihad can run for president? "

Doubt this person understood the irony as s/he posted this.
