1. They have plenty of time--
2-12 through 2-14 if they choose to call DeadEye. I think he's too great a liability to put on the witness stand.

5. THIS is the Real Effect of All These Media Circuses
If this were the Paula Jones trial, no way Cheney would be able to avoid testifying. It would be on everyone's lips, and the pressure would be too great.

As it is, people are going to say "wha?" and on with their business. I certainly hope he does not get away with this

6. Here's the press release:
"The Vice President will travel to Japan and Australia during the week of February 19. He will meet with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and Prime Minister John Howard to discuss issues of mutual interest including Asian security and the global war on terror. The President has asked the Vice President to thank these two allies for their efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan. In this regard, the Vice President will also thank the Japanese and Australian forces.

In addition, the Vice President will visit with U.S. troops stationed overseas in Guam."

Why the hell is he going? Why did he go to Saudi Arabia?

I'm telling you, this man is up to something.

7. Catch me, catch me, if you can. I'm the Gingerbread man.
Is it too much to hope that all the leaders who are expecting him, just publicly call to cancel?
