Draft Gore video-- anybody have CNN segment today?

Dylan Malone, chair of AlGore.org, was quoted today by on CNN about drafting Gore. The text is up, but no video. :( Did anybody happen to tape that or are you aware of a YouTube video?

SCHNEIDER (voice over): Al Gore said it before, and he said it again today at a news conference in London where he and entrepreneur Richard Branson announced the Virgin Earth Challenge prize.

AL GORE, FMR. VICE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES: I don't have plans to be a candidate again, and though I haven't made the so-called Sherman statement and completely ruled out any possibility of running at some point in the future, I don't expect to, and can't foresee circumstances in which I would.

SCHNEIDER: So what, say activists like Dylan Malone, who are trying to organize a draft Gore movement.

He explained his name came from 2004 in regards to some Congressional procedure to get Gore into office. He could explain it better.

All I know, is that without Mr. Gore, the field is uninspiring to me, and there isn't really a candidate I care for. Unless perhaps Dean gets into the race, which is probably not likely since he's happy with his current position.

If Gore wants to be President, then he should know that Now is his chance. If he doesn't want it now, the opportunity may not present itself quite this easily ever again.

It's his life though, so ultimately we'll live with whatever he decides. But if he has dreamed about being President, this is going to be his best chance IMO.

Although I find most of your comments in threads about Gore pretty annoying I do appreciate your participation in them because your every remark helps to kick the thread to the top of the forum where it gets viewed more often. Hopefully we'll find someone with an on-line link to the video.

I had a killer toothache, took a painkiller, it didn't work. But I found something that did (*)
4 advils and beer. I don't know how much beer before the pain went away but by the end of the night I was singing harmony with Lindsey Buckingham. And I didn't even have to dress like Stevie. Couldn't have been too bad, the dogs weren't giving me that "What the fuck" look this morning.

At the end of the evening, the Admiral knocked evl down and stripped off his lederhosen. Oh, the inhumanity of it all. :eyes:

Then, to make matters worse, the Admiral passed the lederhosen around and made us 1) identify the odor/ailment and 2) rate the odor. The cruelty. The inhumanity! Even worse, some of us are heading to evl's house to do it all over again tonight, in person! :yoiks: :banghead:


As for the video, he has a lead on it now.

I can't even imagine evl in lederhosen. What a visual.
