1. No. I don't care to see pictures of people dying from cancer.
I work in the nursing field and have seen enough of this. Leave him be.

2. I agree, and his resignation has EVERYTHING to do with his cancer.
That song and dance about leaving because of money was the most transparent lie I've ever heard. And I don't know why he told it but that's his business. The man is dying.

9. I'm not so sure the money part is a lie.
What if his insurance doesn't cover the cost of the kind of treatment he's getting? If there's anything we should have learned from Michael Moore, it's that being insured isn't necessarily the answer to all your troubles in paying your medical bills. Snow may have more money than most of us, but maybe even that isn't enough.

10. It makes me wonder what the White House health plan looks like.
Just from glancing at this link, it appears that federal employees have some really good options. I think I need to get a government job.

3. I'm from a family of nurses who do hospice work... This is not
an easy topic and should never be used as entertainment. I am however, concerned about his rapid decline and would be so inclined to judge his state of health and for that reason only. Not for anything sinister, and I hope the post initiator means no harm either.

5. I don't think HawkeyeX meant anything malevolent at all...
If one has not kept up--even for a few weeks--it is hard to imagine the steep decline in health that Mr. Snow obviously is facing.

Those of us who work in health fields sadly know all too well. For others, sometimes a picture can help with the understanding--not for entertainment value, for sure.

8. I have to agree with you. The poor bastard is declining--his hair is gone, he's thinner than ever,
he looks like death warmed over. I'm with the "leave him be" bunch.

4. If you do a DU search, HawkeyeX...
there were photos posted when he resigned last week. Sadly, I think his time is very limited. Certainly, the chemo and metastases are putting him through hell.

I hope he can be there for his family as long and with as much quality of life as possible. Cancer is so horrendous.

7. Go here
http://news.yahoo.com/photos

Type Tony Snow in the search field. You'll find pictures.
