Front page of the paper of record this morning. A sad picture in my humble opinion.



I saw this on the way to work. Funny how for all he thinks it will do this picture and the chance that troops might be able to come home is what is above the fold. Oh and Bremer swears it wasn't his fault, again.

but of course the question really is-Where were you BEFORE the war New York Times?

3. Possible will become improbable, then it will become impossible.
Their plan has been laid out for years. This is just a carrot on the stick ploy. IMHO.

4. TPM nailed it last week
Bush has to stay at the table and keep getting markers from the house and keep hoping for that one big payoff. He has no options left. He can't leave the table and settle up he is way too far behind.
