Former mayor and president hopeful Rudy Giuliani will return to Ground Zero on the 6th anniversary of 9/11 and read from a text, Mayor Bloomberg told WCBS radio on Tuesday morning.
A spokesman for Bloomberg said the text has not yet been chosen. Each year, a different group of readers recite the names of the 2,749 people killed at the World Trade Center on 9/11, interspersed with readings from public and elected officials.
In past years, parents, siblings, and spouses have read the names. This year, firefighters, police officers and other rescue workers will read the list, which takes about four hours.
One sure bet is that Giuliani won't be reading a passage from "Rudy Giuiliani's Five Big Lies About 9/11":
