Bush Chuckles when asked by "Washington Life" magazine.. if we will Bomb Iran

(I thought this was a joke when I read it on "Think Progress" and followed the link back to UPI website.
Unless UPI is into gossip and jokes it seems that this is what REALLY happened...) :shrug:


At a farewell reception at Blair House for the retiring chief of protocol, Don Ensenat, who was President Bush's Yale roommate, the president shook hands with Washington Life Magazine's Soroush Shehabi. A grandson of one of the late Shah's ministers, Soroush said, "Mr. President, I simply want to say one U.S. bomb on Iran and the regime will remain in power for another 20 or 30 years and 70 million Iranians will become radicalized."

"I know," President Bush answered.

"But does Vice President Cheney know?" asked Soroush.

The president chuckled and walked away.

war-profiteering unless they radicalize millions of people against us.

And the only way to do that is by killing thousands upon thousands of innocent people to make everyone else hate our guts.

...because these goons discuss their Iran-bombing plans all of the time. They
know it's going to happen. They've known it since they took power. They've
all ready mapped out a strategy, and we're currently seeing phase I of the marketing
plan to sell war with Iran to the American public.

War with Iran is all ready a given--to BushCo. That's old news to them. It's
a done deal.

Bush laughs because all of this seems a bit absurd to him. He knows Iran is all ready
as good as bombed, and the marketing campaign is a necessary evil that Junior reluctantly
endures. The court jester just can't contain his contempt for the American people.

He thinks it's funny that we actually think that we have any say in our country
or in how many innocent people get slaughtered.

Hence, the chuckle.

So far...not much. :-(

As some of us have been saying here on DU for years....this is what happened in Germany and the legacy of Prescott seems to live on along with that other Demon from Hell who treated his people just like these crazies are treating our Country.
