Dear Presidential Candidates...
..a couple of questions about some of those issues..
Regarding war...why it is that government officials have obviously believed for some time now, that foreign interventions and mass murder on the behalf of business interests, paid for by taxpayers, has a positive effect on our society?
A Brief History of U.S. Interventions:
1945 to the Present

Regarding the 'right' to 'affordable' health insurance. Why is it that the U.S. government requires it's citizens...often by law.. to purchase insurance against any conceivable mishap, and then allows the insurance industry to deny claims and/or policies based on the odds? Also, I'd like to know how putting an end to those 'frivolous law suits' has worked out. I'm still waiting for the cost of my health care to be significantly lowered.

Regarding Immigration. Why is the issue being raised now,...After...you have legislated the very laws that have benefited (big time) the corporations that have outsourced labor.

Regarding U.S. workers... Why is it that "four out of five dollars received for goods and services sold abroad by United States firms are actually earned from goods and services produced by their foreign affiliates?" How does society benefit, when the U.S. subsidizes agribusiness farms so they can export corn at prices 20 percent below the cost of production, and wheat at 46 percent below cost. How does Government's banning unions from parts of the Department of Homeland Security, privatizing some 850,000 federal jobs, and banning strikes on airlines benefit society?

Regarding Impeachment. I do not care whether you are for or against impeachment. I would like to know if you are for or against the rule of law. How is it that a 14-year-old black female freshman, (never before in trouble) gets sentenced to prison for up to 7 years for shoving a hall monitor at a High School

but treason, mass murder, and spying on the citizens of this country gets you laws passed that make it all okay? Why is is that more people are behind bars (1 out of every 32 adults) than any time in our history? Why is it that we have a higher percentage of our population imprisoned than any other nation?

Why are we one of only five countries that executes our kids?

...and how does that shake out with the whole 'Right to Life' thing? I'm having a hard time figuring out what is so pro about the life that awaits those unwanted, neglected, abused children, and if the U.S. government wants it's citizens to have any choices at all. Or is this too, one of the benefits of legislation that await society?
