The only thing on TV with that title I'd ever bother to watch would star Nell Carter and was made in 1981.

(and by season 2, "Gimme a Break" turned to mindless pablum too... then came Joey Lawrence a year later and it didn't jump over sharks, it jumped over an ocean full of them...)
