4. They're pretty bad. Not like the old Ted Turner days, 20 plus years ago.
They really just reported news, then, even if it was low tech, it was at least a credible recitation of the most important stories of that day.

I still remember how they juxtaposed the video of coffins of troops killed in Panama returning to the US with President Bush, the first's, press conference where he was joking and laughing.

It's come to light since that Noriega might have had some embarrassing info on a Bush progeny, but I digress.

The WH was furious at CNN's coverage, but it was powerful and newsworthy.

Now, the National Enquirer bests CNN more often than not. MKJ

5. Ted Turner please come back

Dr. Gupta and the Pharamacy Industry are filling CNN 24/7.

I am so sick of it and the replays of Larry King over and over and over again.

6. What does it say of the advertisers that they fund the indulgence of ignorance?
Edited on Sat Sep-08-07 09:27 AM by ThomWV
How would they feel if their participation was seen in that light?

Maybe letters to the advertisers asking the simple question, "why do you pay for this disgraceful use of the airways - are you looking for morons as your coustomer base?"
