Why does Rummy still have a desk at the Pentagon?
Remember Nancy P. mentioned this the other day when defending herself against the right-wing-freak-show's latest 'the plane, the plane' episode. Was his resignation merely for public show with a Gates appointment smokescreen? Doesn't it seem a little funny that Rumsfeld 'goes' and Bush then decides to stick pretty much to the same old Iraq policy?

Could it also be that Rumsfeld is still directing the Pentagon's MSM disinformation program, you know, the one Rumsfeld said he'd killed the name of. He even admitted that the program continues, the only thing that had changed was its name. (By the way the MSM was upset that Rumsfeld was so open about the program since it requires their willing participation.)

I wonder if Democratic oversight will be extended to tackle the questions outlined above?

1. Do you really have to ask?
I thought it was obvious.

2. i thought i read somewhere that the reason being given is that he needs
a "transition office"? Normally something like that wouldn't sound too bad but when connected with Rumsfeld it sounds hideous.

4. I don't think anyone
really thought that little fan dance just after the november elections actually meant anything.
This is not the first time crap like this has demonstrated the maladministration's facile appreciation of legal, moral and ethical behavior.

5. If they really wanted him gone
he would be gone. The rest is academic. He's still there because they want him there.

13.  I doubt if he was removed at all .
How would we know , these freaks do nothing but lie and there is no way we can know if rummy is still playing with his war toys while rubbing his sick hands together .

Most of what they do is shift people around . Like Negroponte now and Rice , what's this all about , certainly not what we were told .

They have their shaddow government going on underground .
