We need someone who not only understands the significance of the crisis upon us but also one who is willing to stand up to big money/corporations and be a catalyst for immediate change through policies that will be drastic but necessary. The film tells us we are at 11:59 and 59 seconds on a clock that strikes midnight as a crisis out of control. What should have been occurring 30 or more years ago has been put aside for greed and materialism. Our economy and that of the rest of the world does not need growth, but instead needs immediate change of course in a different direction, if we are to survive as a specie.

Please go and see this movie and pass and the word. It is an important film on a topic that cannot be ignored.

1. I am a former Bradley delegate who respects Gore very much.
I'm an Edwards voter who can support our field across the spectrum in 08.

I like Joni Mitchell, oak groves, and butterscotch pie.

Gore opens the dialogue. He has his enemies, owing to his clear-minded and good-hearted pronouncement of the urgencies you include in your post. It's those enemies that are the gauge of his role, and the role is a good one to play, and he's absolutely qualified on those issues to play it.

Whether he wants to be president remains to be seen. I think the Nobel Committee will select its peace lauriat wisely and I think Gore deserves that award.

The entire Democratic AND Republican fields will be scrambled by an entrance of Gore into the race, and possibly even by just his endorsement.

He's a sage elder in the catbird seat right now.
