4. Yeah, my prediction is that we're perilously close to bellying up. We're behaving
as though it were still the 1950's, yet there's high unemployment due to outsourcing jobs, we've had to SELL OUR PORTS and god knows what else for $$$, we're now in China's pocket since they essentially are funding our participation in Iraq. And on.

And so many people breathe a sigh of relief if the market does well -- as though that couldn't have the rug pulled out.

We're no longer the strong, beloved nation we once were, but you'd never know it by our actions.

I predict that those of us who have our savings in dollars will one day be pushing around that wheelbarrow full of worthless cash to buy a cup of coffee, like the guy in the cartoon in my grade school history book depicting Germany after WWII.

5. in ideal world
the euros` would be booking flights to the usa in record numbers but since the homeland insecurity the euros` have been avoiding the usa by the tune of over 15 billion dollars last year. it`s certainly cheaper labor over here and property is dirt cheap..great opportunities if you are a euro with investment money...even bush fucked up this opportunity
