Simpson Named Suspect in Armed Robbery
In an interview with The Associated Press, Simpson insisted there were no guns involved and that he went to the room at the Palace Station casino only to get stolen mementos that included his Hall of Fame certificate and a picture of the running back with J. Edgar Hoover.

2. Can you imagine if this stupid crime is what sends him behind bars for years?
Oh man... That would mean ANOTHER OJ trial.

4. You're probably right
Still, the addition of a gun into the story has kinda upped the odds. Should be interesting to see where this all goes. I just hope that it doesn't blanket every other story out there.

7. But he was very good
in those commercials. Even the old lady he smiled at in the last commercial thought so. You can't fake commercials -- they are, by definition, real. You just knew there was a conspiracy to convict him of those crimes when they refused to allow those commercials into evidence. They proved it couldn't be OJ. I think it was the one-armed man.

8. I'm SURE it was the one-armed man!
I cornered the little fucker in the wine aisle at Kroger's on North Gessner in Houston last night, and he confessed! - and to the Kimble murder too! - the little bastard!

9. Exactly.
Greed kills. OJ was merely conducting a one-armed sting operation, to get the Hertz t-shirts back.

10. I Was A Bit Rough
He was an icon... He was far more than a "has been"... I have him as the second best running back of all time behind Jim Brown... Two reflections on that fateful June 1993 night...One is that he obviously snapped and two is we often don't know very much about people we hold out as heroes...

11. I will agree
that the public's image of "heroes" frequently has little connection to the reality of who they are; and respectfully disagree with the comment that he "snapped." There is information available that indicates he was a violent thug. More, there is evidence that suggests he had rehearsed the crime in his mind, and other evidence from the crime shows that it was relatively well planned out. He did not snap. He is a cold-blooded sociopath who could run with the ball.

13. William Wasz
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Wasz

This was documented before Nicole Simpson's death -

"On January 24, 1994, Paula Barbieri's (O.J. Simpson's girlfriend) car was stolen. A week later, police found the car after it was involved in a traffic accident. They arrested William Wasz. Wasz claimed he was hired to use the car to follow Nicole Simpson. In a notebook found in the car, there were references to two weapons, including a 9mm pistol. The notebook also contained Nicole's daily schedule. A gun and a crack pipe were also found in the car"
