Fox News and PBS are adjacent channels on my TV.
Fox is running non-stop politics: Discrediting MoveOn.org, bashing Hillary, smearing all Democrats. PBS is running a nostalgia concert of 1950's pop music, attended by aging white people clapping on the downbeat.

Do we see a trend here?

2. That "Doo wop concert" infomercial is the worst thing ever broadcast on PBS
Our station up hear pulls that out when they want to raise money and give away "doo wop" CD's as premiums for donating, but the whole thing is so poorly produced. And rather depressing :)

3. I think it chases more people away, than it gets them to watch..
I am lucky,... I have about 6 PBS stations, and most are not on the same fund drive schedule, so i almost always have something to watch.

4. My thought when I saw the CD hawking was:
"How is this different from K-Tel?"

And all the while, Fox is talking politics, fighting for their side.
