Is Hillary's plan similar to what Germany has?

Isn't Germany's system based around mandatory Insurance too? If so, where does Germany rank in the world when it comes to health?

I am no expert on any of this but I don't trust the Insurance companies at all. However, if the Government regulated them better and kept them in line I could possibly be persuaded to support her plan. Right now I am leaning against it.

I'm sick of these asshole corporations fucking up an important public service like health care out of greed and indifference. I want a tax funded single-payer national public health service which everyone has access to as a matter of right. A system that cares more about public health than profit. Then we can talk about how we compare to other countries. Right now we suck compared to other countries.
