Here is PROOF? Military link pics etc. of Iranian involvement.
Edited on Sun Feb-11-07 06:49 PM by flamingpie2500

My question is does Iran always use ENGLISH on their weapons???

BAGHDAD (AP) — U.S. military officials charged on Sunday that the highest levels of the Iranian leadership ordered Shiite militants in Iraq to be armed with sophisticated armor-piercing roadside bombs that have killed more than 170 American forces.

8. I accept the possibility that Iran is up to no good in Iraq,
Edited on Sun Feb-11-07 07:01 PM by policypunk
I also suspect they are there on the explicit invitation of the shiite government we installed. Shiite loyalty to Iran runs very deep. We have turned over Iraq to a cabal of shiite terrorists, what should we expect?

Ofcourse, like everything else I am sure nobody in charge of the fiasco knew of the connection between shiites and Iran... as they didn't know what shiites were!

I don't dispute the agenda of the PNAC types, but I don't think it is that unlikely the government of Iranian shiites we installed in Baghdad is cooperating with the fatherland either.

when they could just dip into the QUARTER MILLION FUCKING TONS of ordnance Team Dubya failed to secure and disappeared from weapons storage sites like Al Qaqa.

>My question is does Iran always use ENGLISH on their weapons???

The answer could be yes. Given the amount of weapons exported by the US and UK, maybe English is the lingua franca of international arms merchants and weapons builders. But I don't know for sure.

29. I'm not making any claim as to the legitimacy of their "intelligence."
For all we know their little display, if it's even legit, contains every piece of Iranian weaponry ever discovered in Iraq. That doesn't necessitate high-level Iranian government involvement. It necessitates something "falling off the back of a truck."

It's simply ridiculous.

28. But they are claiming they were "Machined" in Iran
Edited on Sun Feb-11-07 07:23 PM by flamingpie2500
It included a power-point slide program and a handful of mortar shells and rocket-propelled grenades which the military officials said were made in Iran.

Three senior military officials who explained the evidence said the "machining process" used in the construction of the deadly bombs had been traced back to Iran.

sorry wrong paragraph

36. I think the weapons were made in Iran, and the lack of Farsi on them indicates...
they are meant for export and not local consumption. That's why I think it's very possible to get them without the explicit approval from the Iranian government. In fact I went to the website of the Iranian arms company "Defense Industries Organization" or DIO for short and looked up the mortars shown in the ppt presentation, and indeed the mortars on the website look like the ones that were in the ppt. Not only that, but I found that the fuzes shown in the ppt are also Iranian made.

In addition, the website has a system to register and order weapons over the internet, so it is very possible to get them without the strict control of Iran.

39. The numbers of the fuzes matching the DIO site doesn't mean they are Iranian
I did a search on the number of the fuze, and came up with a link to a .mil site
that showed a German fuze for 81 mm mortar rounds with very close to the same
identifying number. It could be a generic identifier.

I killed your previous thread with this, but take a(nother) look:

IIRC correctly, they write ddmmyyyy not mmddyyyy. I swear this is the exact same discussion we had about Iraq. Are there any pictures of mobile weapons labs yet? Where are the pictures of the softwood drones? anyone want to start a pool for what date they'll go to the UN with vials of white powder? I'll take March 5th.

where the villain keeps coming back no matter what you do to it? these bastards are just replaying the tape thinking it will be believed - they are like the zombies shambling toward Buffy - scary, evil, but too stupid to know when the jig is up. let's hope we can make them go poof into dust SOON!

Richard Perle, from the above-referenced PNAC link:

"Recently Perle commented on America's war on terrorism: "No stages," he said, "This is total war. We are fighting a variety of enemies. There are lots of them out there. All this talk about first we are going to do Afghanistan, then we will do Iraq . . . this is entirely the wrong way to go about it. If we just let our vision of the world go forth, and we embrace it entirely and we don't try to piece together clever diplomacy, but just wage a total war . . . our children will sing great songs about us years from now."
