How important are early primates to the 08 campaign?
I mean having elected a chimp as Potus and a gorilla as VP, isn't it time for a howler or something?

14. Yessss! Go Lucy!
Upright movement, small but adequate brain capacity, possibly able to use tools (beyond chainsaws). Hmmm, a definite improvement!

8. I'm ready for something with opposable toes and a prehensile tail
If we'd have a nominee like that we'd be up two opposables to every one THEY have.

15. how about a raccoon?
may not have opposable thumbs but doesn't need them, alert, inquisitive, intelligent, nice coat of fur, cute tail, capable of defending his/her-self

Maybe late primates are more mature.

20. Well, we've seen what electing chimps and gorillas results in...
I was considering the possibility that those 2 later primates might represent degenerate species...and therefore wondering if earlier primates might not still have characteristics that would serve the nation better.
