I am disgusted that people are more upset over a couple of juvenile name-calling incidents than real injustice in Jena Louisiana.

I'm talking about everyone having a nervous breakdown over the stupid betrayus thing with barely a mention of the protests in Jena today. Jena is what's important. We are speaking volumes to minorities by placing more emphasis on a dumb ad.

8. I agree completely

It took me a long time to realize what was going on with regard to the outrage toward moveon because I kept thinking that the "betray us" ad was light political criticism.

I hope the rally at Jena shakes up the powers that be and reminds them to apply the law equally and protect their black citizens as well as white.

The Jena 6 may have some criminal adjudication in their future, but hopefully the future will be more equitable for Jena residents.

The ad and the vote were stupid meaningless gestures that posture against the hearing and the war, serious things that deserve our attention.
