Most Americans are not like those on DU...
i.e. well informed about most issues.

The American people will not be outraged about the Senate vote to condemn MoveOn for their General Betrayus ad.

I would say a good amount of the American people don't even know who General Betrayus is.

It was a "safe" vote by democrats to go along with the dog and pony show that Cornyn wanted to put on.

It means nothing.

IMO, MoveOn will only gain from this as it will anger those on the left-wing to join/send money to MoveOn.

4. Yep, or their own reality show,
where both parents drag themselves home from work from one of their two or three jobs they must keep just to make ends meet, while meanwhile they have all their kids overbooked in sports and then no one in the family has time to for squat, let alone read a newspaper, even a biased newspaper! Most Americans are far too busy. We are the lucky ones.

5. Americans are smarter than Congress
Most people know the Constitution calls for impeachment when the president admits to illegal activities.

Most Americans are pretty mad at congress(see approval ratings) for wasting valuable time on stupid shit and then telling us they don't have the time to remove that rat bastard from office even as he threatens to attack Iran.
