Monday morning angry ramblings

So I usually do not do much DUing during the weekends and I disconnect from the world for the most part. So as I hop in my car and drive to work I hear on the Stephanie Miller show that some group took out an ad in the NY Times to call Iran President Ahmadinejad a "terrorist". Well thats enough to get me in a good mood this morning. Who the hell are these brainwashed sheep who put out this crap and believe it?

The facts are Ahmadinejad has MORE OF A RIGHT to deal with Iraq than the US does. They are the NEIGHBORS, not the occupiers. Per the IAEA, Iran is FULLY COOPERATING WITH UN INSPECTORS. Ahmadinejad has said some harsh things about Israel, but maybe that has something to do with PALESTINIAN OPPRESSION IN THE WEST BANK????

When you call Ahmadinejad a terrorist, WHAT IS THE NEXT STEP? Do you know where you are going with this crap? Did we not just do all this BULLSHIT 5 years ago? Do people forget so fast? The next step from the political name calling and getting everyone up in this anti-Iran attitude is WAR. BOMBS WILL FALL SOMEWHERE. Do people think Iran will just sit there and take it??? Does anyone LOOK AT A MAP??? At the very least, oil prices will shoot up over 100 and worst case is we are starting World War 3 with China and Russia. Do people not think of consequences of actions????

I am so fed up with this crap. I AM SICK OF IT. SO SICK OF IT. I JUST WANT TO YELL AT THE TOP OF MY LUNGS FOR EVERYONE TO JUST STOP IT ALL NOW!!! But nobody will hear me.

So as I get into work, my co-workers are completely oblivious to what is going on in the world. They know theres some war in some far off land and that Iran is some evil country that wants to nuke everyone. But beyond that, they don't care. My co-workers talk about their grass, their daughters basketball games, what a good deal they got buying some meaningless crap online. NOBODY REALLY CARES except a few thousand people here and there scattered on blogs.

I have been here for 4 years, I have canvassed for Dems, I have attended protests, I have done the whole CALL CONGRESS RIGHT FUCKING NOW thing. I just don't know anymore.

I feel trapped on a runaway train headed for disaster and I cant stop it. I feel helpless right now.

I will be the happiest person in the world if on January 21, 2009 nothing has changed and we did not do anything to Iran. That is all I want. Just don't bomb Iran.

The world is a powder keg waiting to go off and my country - the so-called greatest democracy in the World is the main cause of it and there is nothing I can do to stop it.

I guess I should just go shopping. Or go post copycat threads in the lounge. I don't know anymore. Ignorance is bliss.

something will bite americans in the a$$ soon, if they do not open their fucking eyes, (excluding those of us who do have our eyes open) we need to take control of this country again, or it will be more of the same. I do not like the idea of slam banging Ahmadinejad here in the US. Let the man speak. Again in Iran this guy has no clout, it is the Ayatollahs who have the control. As far as short memories yes we have very short memories. We can't keep on invading countries and killing innocent people, not this time, some countries will not sit back and watch either. Keep on fighting, do not give up cause this is what these neo cons want they want us to surrender, sorry it just does not work like that to me.
