1. obama's response was perfect! if howard likes this war
(and dubya) so much, then he should send 21,500 aussie troops to iraq.

6. Better response
No, Senator Obama's response was quite poor.
But that's O.K. because it is reasonable that he wouldn't be aware of either the neocon issues driving John Howards comments, nor would he be aware of Australian domestic issues with which to make a better response. He was on the spot, he felt he should say something.

The perfect response was made by Senator Wyden, that is the line the ALP are slamming Howard with here in Australia, even some of his own Ministers are turning on him for trying to villanize the US Democratic Party.

If you want to make John Howard into a good advantage for the Democratic Party, I suggest you expose the neocon agenda Howard and George Bush share -

-Bush funding Islamic terroism, Howard remaining slent about Indonesian genocide and the neocon corporations profiteering from that genocide

George Bush: President Bush also re-emphasized the United States' strong support for Indonesia's national unity and territorial integrity, and opposition to secessionist movements in any part of Indonesia.

2. Memo to Howard: It's the shaking stick in the hornets' nest that's stirring them up.
Stop shaking it, and **remove** it, and see what happens.

Note: The above statement is not intended to be sexual in nature. That's why I'm writing this disclaimer, since it didn't come to mind. :evilgrin:

3. And a PS; your Senate CENSURED YOU, Howie, for your "DECEPTION"
that got Australia quagmired in Iraq...AGAINST the wishes of the MAJORITY of Australians.

So you have no right to speak of

-"democracy" as you obviously don't have a clue what it is;

-"embolding al Qaeda", as your illegal invasion & occupation, as your own government has reported, has caused the "embolding of al Qaeda" aruond the world and for the first time allowed terrorists to flourish in Iraq;

So really, Howie, as your own Senate CENSURED YOU for your LIES, dontcha think you should just shut the fuck up?

Your own people do.

So do we.

5. Please don't call him "Howie".
He already has a nickname, Little Johnnie. Thank you.

4. Barack Obama spokesman Robert Gibbs
said,"If Prime Minister Howard truly believes what he says, perhaps his country should find its way
to contribute more than just 1,400 troops so some American troops can come home.
It's easy to talk tough when it's not your country or your troops making the sacrifices."
