So, first on the slow train wreck that is the SCARBOROUGH show (less of a circus than sL-IMUS), all morning they were hashing and re-hashing how all of the Dem candidates together and separately have FAR outpaced the Rethugs in fundraising, how 20% of the business community has scuttled its Rethug identity. David GREGORY was on before Tweety and did the polls, showing weakness for GHOULIANI and how Fred THOMPSON "flunked the audition in Florida" and is otherwise not getting traction.
Sounds good (to most of us here), don't it? But wait. If there are no bad data for Dems, Tweety will hurl his OPINIONS.
Since he sponsored SCARBOROUGH's start on MSRNC, he feels comfortable talking him down quite opposite how he TREMBLED when facing sL-IMUS. He motor-mouthed, literally, and just about without taking a breath withOUT interruptions or questions for 3 or 4 minutes.
His main themes were how bad the Dems are, especially the CLINTONs and how OBAMA "doesn't seem to want to fight for it, wants to CHARM us" and how that won't work. He said that Senator CLINTON "does not listen to the people" (meaning HIM, I think), that she is only listening to her poll guy and (Molly? GRUNWALD?) who run her campaign.
It's always irritating how de facto declared enemies of the Dems presume to give advice on what the Dems should do. Pipsqueak Ruben NAVARRETTE is another one of those.
So Tweety presumed to give free advice on what OBAMA should be doing. He said that Senator CLINTON is not honest enough to explain her record on the Iraq Attack. Btw, Tweety threw in there that he himself "was always against the war" conveniently skipping over how he ALWAYS built Shrub up and during the run-up was at the forefront of war drum-beating, including performing the on-air execution of DONAHUE who DID oppose the war.
He said that since OBAMA *did* vote against the various war enabling bills, he should shoot down the "lack of experience" case made against him by the CLINTONs and say to "BILL CLINTON", "YOU are the sort of 'experience' we don't need!!1"
Yesterday on The View he did his I'm-a-cute-parochial-schoolboy stunt that he always pulls around women, when Joy confronted him, saying, "But you voted for (Shrub) in 2000, didn't you. Are you sorry?" He said, "I'm not sorry, but I was wrong."
Well, guess what, Tweety, 99% of what you hurl are OPINIONS that are worth a bucket of warm piss. And you and G.E. RUSSERT are what Dems don't need.
