Freepers want Rush to be given time on Senate floor

I think someone in the Republican Party should invite Rush to speak on the Senate floor to reply to the outrageous lies perpetrated by members of the democratic party.

The lying statements of Reid and others are now on public record and Rush deserves to have HIS rebuttal on record.

I, for one, am going to write to as many Senate Republicans as possible to petition them to invite Rush to appear.

I invite other FReepers to do the same, maybe we can get at least one of them to grow a spine and do what's right.

He needs to for the sole fact that the statements by the Dems about him go into permanent historical record, while his counter arguments on the radio don’t.

It would be fun to have rush appear before the House Armed Services Committee. Rep. Udall is the sponsor of the resolution in the House and he could have some fun with rush. Imagine how much fun it would be to subpoena the true tapes and to show that rush edited the tape he is using to defend himself.

Imagine all the things they could get on record.

The Democrats have been requiring bushies to be under oath when they testify before congress.

Rush would never go to the senate. Yes, the republican side would gladly stoke his ego like they do to everyone else they like, but democrats would actually ask him not-so-friendly questions, which he wouldn't be able to handle. There's a reason that his radio show doesn't normally have guests on - he can't handle dissent.
