Chris Matthews (Tweety) on NPR Talk of the Nation -- talking about how he votes
Edited on Thu Oct-04-07 01:33 PM by Emit
Sez he isn't a "liberal", per se, voted for Bush the first time, but sometimes votes Democratic; can "make a case for gay marriage" and "pro-choice"...

Discussing his new book.

Since he gets so much play time on DU, thought others would be interested in how he defines himself politically:

On now but likely over soon -- it will replay later.

Edited to add "Tweety" in case some DUers don't know who I'm posting about. *evil grin*

1. Talking about blogs -- netroots.
Discussing when he used to work for SF newspaper -- sources, how can blogs get edited, etc. Fact checking -- intellectural, not idealogical editing.

3. "sometimes votes Dem" - HA!!1 Years ago he also said, "I'm not the Dem I used to be"
And one time he quizzed a guest on a laundry list of issues then said disappointedly, "Oh, you're STILL a Dem!!1"

He's just an attention queen. He thinks he is being "smart" to be able to "make a case" for ALL sides of an issue. He trashes the CLINTONs mostly, but goes on venues like Jon STEWERT and other Dem-friendlies and cites them as examples of "success" in his fool book.

His books are slim, very slim, with lots of blank half pages, and large type, and wide spaces between the lines. Quite a coinky-dinky that this one just happens to match up with the tenth anniversary of Hardball-for-Dems/Puffball-for-Rethugs.

What has been incredible in this round of his appearances is HOW much of a glory hound he is. I mean, I knew he was, but it's beyond my imaginings.
