60 Minutes - Mack Marion is my kind of country folk

The DNA segment. Mack's a beef rancher from Poplar Bluff MO who found out he was related to a black woman from Harlem through DNA testing. His reaction? You're my blood and that's all that matters. That was very touching. If only all country people were like that. I'm from rural Oklahoma so I know he's not typical.

Turns out the DNA tests might have been scams but ya gotta love Mack Marion.

1. That really was a sweet story

I'm sure there are many more situations like this throughout the US. We really are a melting pot. Just goes to show how random hooking up has been throughout the ages. :-)

4. My grandmother was a full-blood Delaware

In 2 generations there are very few "full-blood" anything now. We certainly have become a true melting pot. I really don't see how racism can last much longer in today's society but it's still out there. It's nice to see someone who still believes that blood (family) is the most important thing of all.
