No matter what the question is, Rudi says 9/11
BY HELEN KENNEDY

DAILY NEWS STAFF WRITER

Sunday, October 7th 2007, 12:56 PM

For Rudy Giuliani, 9/11 is the answer. To almost anything, it seems.

After all, it's why America fell in love with him on that darkest of days, when the mayor was the only person on TV reassuring the nation. It's why he's the Republican front-runner for President.

"For me, every day is an anniversary of Sept. 11," he said in Florida last month.

Giuliani wastes no opportunity to bring up 9/11 on the campaign trail. Sometimes, it looks like a stretch.

Here is "Jeopardy, the Giuliani Edition," where 9/11 is always the answer, but the questions may surprise you:

WHY DID YOU FLIP ON GUN CONTROL?

"There are some major intervening events - Sept. 11 - which cast somewhat of a different light on the Second Amendment."

- Giuliani's September speech to the NRA

WHY DID YOU INTERRUPT THAT SPEECH TO TAKE A CALL FROM JUDI?

"Since Sept. 11, most of the time when we get on a plane we talk to each other and just reaffirm the fact that we love each other"

- September interview with CBN News

4. otherwise he might actually have to bring up his policy plans?
all his policy plans are based on 9-11...

Education: we don't want our children to forget about 9-11

Economy: officially declaring 9-11 as a "don't worry go shopping" national holiday

national security: changing 911 emergency code to 9-11

healthcare - creates special group to investigate the effects of 9-11 on healthcare industry

5. Nobody's going to let 'family guy' rudy win the white house and then
walk in with his w----e. I continue to be amazed that anyone even consider's he should still be a candidate. He wasn't liked before or after 9/11 and he lied about most of his activity in the weeks after it. He's made a fortune from it. geesh, give me a break. send this guy back to being a private citizens.

6. Rudy is your candidate
If you're still wet-your-pants scared from the September 11 attacks six years ago, Rudy is your candidate.

If you prefer the image of strength to actual strength, Rudy is your candidate.

If you like your leaders short-tempered, ready to snap at any slight real or imagined, Rudy is your candidate.

If you like your corruption served hot and cold, Rudy is your candidate.

7. That man makes me sick
It's true that the current president and his administration has raised the bar pretty high for nausea-inducement.

But the notion of a President Rudy Guliani really bothers me. I get a visceral reaction to that man. And it's not good at all.

9. Even More The Media Will Not Call Him Out on It
To add to the issue that Guiliani uses 9/11 as a reason for everything is the fact that the media will not call him out on it. They instead call out other candidates who do much less.

10. I hear he has an exploratory group looking into
the legal procedures and how it would impact his campaign if he were to legally change his name to Nineleven Guilianni

"Last week during a speech to the NRA, Rudy Giuliani was interrupted by a cell phone call, which he stopped his speech to answer. Giuliani then told the audience, 'That was my wife reminding me to pick up some milk at the 9-Eleven'" --Seth Meyers
